Qualified reviewers of interactive video game media will vote on the annual
awards for excellence in the industry.
In addition to awards voting, reviewers
can also participate in upcoming TV specials and/or advise the Finalists Committee using the public submission form.

New
voters must register with the Academy to vote on award nominees and winners. There is no fee to become a voter.
Members of the press must provide either all of the following “A” submissions or three (3) of the following “B”
submissions via regular mail in order for registration to be processed:
<A1>
the actual BADGE you received from attending any recognized industry trade show or conference within the past 12 months.
Please cut off the machine-readable stripe and throw it away before sending your badge. The badge must indicate that
you are registered as Press.
<A2>
the actual badge HOLDER you received from attending any recognized industry trade show or conference within the past 12 months.
If possible, the badge holder must indicate that you are registered as Press (i.e. official press ribbon attached to badge
holder).

a detailed job description (100-word minimum) signed by a company supervisor on company letter head with an original signature;
in general, any bona fide job in the media involving game testing, playing, reporting, or editing will suffice, but in the
case of independent media, applicant must provide proof of services to industry (i.e. reference letter signed by client, proof
of publication, proof of employment, etc.), where the validity, integrity, and/or reliability of such proof will be determined
by NAVGTR Corp.

five (5) print articles, each with a 100-word minimum, from a magazine, newspaper, or book published by an incorporated publishing
company or accredited college or university, including a retail/published copy of an issue containing at least one of the
submitted articles. Articles must include a signed statement that the submitted articles are the work of the individual
seeking voter eligibility. Articles appearing within the body of an e-mail or as an attachment thereto will not be accepted.

<B4> fifty (50) online articles, each with a
100-word minimum, submitted either on paper (with an exact and current URL for at least five articles); or through referral
to a web page that links all articles within one scroll on that page without requiring downloads; or through an e-mail
that includes a list of active links to all 50 articles directly. The Academy must receive a signed statement that
the submitted articles are the work of the individual seeking voter eligibility. E-mail attachments or articles
that appear only in e-mails and not on the web will not be accepted.
<B5>
five (5) television or video segments, each with a one-minute minimum, from cable television, satellite television, broadcast
television, or webstreaming video available to at least 15,000 households or 50 unique web visitors a month, respectively.
Applicants can include TV hosts, reporters, writers, and game testers who produce B-roll related to preparing the segments
for television or video, as long as the applicant actually plays the game being reviewed for television or video. Applicant
must include DVD, Mini-DV, or VHS copies of five (5) separate segments and at least one full-length episode containing one
of the segments, with the applicant's name shown in the credits of the program. For television, a list of all markets
must be included with call letters, city, state, and country of operation. For webstreaming, a server site statistics
report must be included.

In your mailed (“snail mail”)
submission materials, you must include the following information on a Cover Page, in addition to the above requirements:

E-mail info at navgtr dot org to confirm receipt of your submissions. In the e-mail, you must include all of the information supplied on
the Cover Page that you sent in the mail, and the subject line and body text must both contain the phrase “Confirm New
Voter.” Submissions received within the 30 days preceding a voting event or a series of voting events will not
be processed until after the voting event(s). Note: The careful following of the above rules may determine whether
any submission will be processed. However, individuals in recognized press databases may or may not be exempt from
submission requirements.

Q: I test games for a
leading video game company. Am I eligible to become a voter?
A: No.
NAVGTR Corp. is a media organization. You can only submit material for consideration by the committee to appear
on the ballot.
Q: How is a tester different from a reviewer?
A: Testers in the media generally do not write
critical reviews, but may issue reports of a game’s content or technical specifications, such as an ESRB rater
or an author of trade articles.
